Do you accept new patients?

Yes, we’re always welcoming new patients. You can book an appointment online or contact us directly.

What insurance plans do you accept?

We accept most major insurance providers, including Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life, Green Shield, and Blue Cross. We also accept government programs like CDCP, IFHP, and NIHB.

Do you accept ODSP, Ontario Works, or Healthy Smiles Ontario?

At this time, Horizons Dental Care does not accept ODSP, Ontario Works, or Healthy Smiles Ontario programs. However, we do accept most private insurance plans and government programs such as CDCP, IFHP, and NIHB. If you have any questions about your coverage, our team is happy to assist you.

Do you offer direct billing?

Yes, we provide direct billing to most insurance companies, reducing your out-of-pocket expenses at the time of your visit.

What payment options are available?

We accept debit, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), e-transfers, and cash. Financing options are also available through Humm and iFinance.

Is your clinic wheelchair accessible?

Yes, Horizons Dental Care is fully wheelchair accessible. We are located on the first floor of the building, with easy access via elevator for both manual and motorized wheelchairs. Our office is designed to accommodate all mobility needs, ensuring a smooth and comfortable visit.

What should I expect during my first visit?

Your initial appointment includes a comprehensive oral exam, panoramic and bitewing X-rays, and a personalized treatment plan.

Do you offer emergency dental services?

Yes, we provide emergency dental care. If you’re experiencing a dental emergency, please contact us immediately.

What are your office hours?

Our office is open Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Saturday appointments are available by special request.

Is your clinic accessible by public transit?

Yes, we’re conveniently located on Carling Avenue with easy access to public transportation and free parking available.

Do you offer services for children?

Absolutely! We provide pediatric dental services tailored to children’s unique needs.
